  • ISPO Munich
    ISPO Team best prepared
The ISPO team is getting a boost with the addition of two new Community Managers, Franziska Zindl and Bastian Dietz. They will be in charge of the forward-looking areas “Digitize – Retail & Industry Services” and “Snowsports & Bike” and are part of a new team structure that takes account of the extended ISPO network. After all, another leading trade fair will also be held in Munich from 2019, namely OutDoor by ISPO. It will be headed by Markus Hefter as Exhibition Group Director, who is already in charge of ISPO Munich. ISPO introduces the new colleagues.
  • OutDoor by ISPO
    Climbing equipment
OutDoor by ISPO is coming to Munich and numerous exhibitors and partners have already confirmed their involvement in the trade fair (June 30 to July 3, 2019)—around nine months in advance. The international trade fair for the outdoor industry owes its popularity in no small part to the new profile, which extends far beyond the exhibition halls themselves: the 365-day platform provides brands and manufacturers with the digital and physical channels they need to be able to communicate with their customers all year round. As such, OutDoor by ISPO is the reliable, modern and pioneering platform that the industry has been looking for.
  • ISPO Award

The phase for the submission of applications for the ISPO Award 2019 will start on October 1, 2018. The process is designed to uncover the world’s most outstanding products and services in the sports industry. An independent panel of international experts will assess several hundreds of entries against strict criteria. There are some changes compared to previous years, including the fact that this year the application process will end on December 7, 2018.
  • ISPO Munich
New ticket prices at ISPO Munich
With a new price structure and discounted tickets, ISPO Munich (February 3 to 6, 2019) will be focusing in future even more on specialist retailers as the key trade visitor group. From 2019, the new ticket model will supplement the services already available specifically for this target group. Through this step, ISPO Munich is not only boosting the participation of the sports retailers but also, as the world’s biggest sports trade fair, aims to expand its character as a trading platform and thus achieve measurable benefits for the exhibiting brands.
  • ISPO Shanghai
    Visitors at ISPO Shanghai
A total of 526 exhibitors and 655 brands presented the summer sports trends of the coming season at ISPO Shanghai from July 5 to 7, 2018. More than 14,500 trade visitors, four percent more than at the previous event, learned about new products in the segments of Running, Health & Fitness, Outdoor and Water Sports at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). The joint ISPO and Tmall fashion show was one of the highlights at the fair. The ISPO Shanghai Digitize Forum also ensured that there were no empty seats.
  • ISPO Digitize
With 443 participants from sports retail and the sporting goods industry, the ISPO Digitize Summit, the first digital conference for the sports business, took place from June 28 to 29. The event showed that demand for digital solutions is as high as it is for information. Summaries of the presentations and impressions of the two-day summit can be found on

    The digital products by ISPO
As the world’s leading sports network, ISPO offers an integrated range of sector-specific cross-media and digital services all year round. In recent years, ISPO has developed digital services for the industry which work 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With these products, ISPO links together brands, retailers and consumers round the clock. ISPO customers can then select the right solution for their marketing strategy aimed at specific target groups. The ISPO Group presents its digital portfolio here.
