Tobias Gröber, Director of ISPO Group, opened the ISPO Digitize Pioneers Night. "ISPO has been supporting the sports industry for almost 50 years, which is why we see it as our task to enable the sports industry to take advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalization."

The stands in front of the ISPO Academy stage in hall C6 were completely filled. The topic of digitalization has reached the entire sports industry.

Tareq Nazlawy, Senior Director Digital Strategy at Adidas, emphasizes the importance of digitalization for Adidas: "Two thirds of the traffic on our website comes from mobile devices. Our app is a 'no-brainer' for us."

When Tony Hawk jumps on the ISPO Academy stage, the audience applauds loudly.

"Skating has a do-it-yourself attitude, and social media is also about doing it yourself. This is part of the future of sport," says Tony Hawk.

"I'm supposed to talk about the future of sport here today," says the skate legend. "I would like to do this using the example of skateboarding."

After the keynotes there was a get-together.
