Renowned speakers, including Adidas Executive Roland Auschel, Nicole Buck of Facebook and Günter Althaus, CEO of ANWR Group, will show in keynotes and workshops how the digital world of tomorrow will look. In the entrance area, exhibitors present their digital strategy.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe München, opened the first ISPO Digitize Summit: "I am very pleased to welcome you here at ISPO Digitize."

Presenter Gordon introduces the first keynote speakers: Roland Auschel, Sales Director at Adidas and Adidas Experience Manager Jacqueline Smith-Dubendorfer. Their talk is called "Winning Digital together".

The 2018 World Cup in Russia is extremely important for Adidas digitally. Roland Auschel shows how the downloads of the Adidas app increased significantly after it was advertised on the adboards for the first time. "We have learned that people interact with us."

Meanwhile, Robot Pepper welcomes the visitors in the entrance area. It is intended to change the customer experience for sports retailers.

At ISPO Digitize, visitors could test and compete with the innovative VR fitness device ICAROS. For example, the ICAROS can fly through an animated canyon landscape at breathtaking speed.

The second keynote of the day with the provocative title: "No one needs digitization" is held by Prof. Bernd Thomsen. The innovation expert recommends "Always start with your product. Not in communication."

Many workshops invited to practical work with experts from the field of digitization.

The workshop called "Tech-Buzzwords-Roundhousekick" offers a good overview of what buzzwords of digitization are buzzing around and what they are good for.

Robert Scoble, the very early adapter: "I have studied people and companies that have changed. I was the first blogger, one of the first at Instagram, one of the first Tesla testers and one of the first to sit in a self-driving Google car. I've seen the new technology everywhere - and I'm telling you: We're just at the beginning."

After Scoble, Giulio Montemagno of Amazon Pay is now speaking on the big stage.

Nicole Buck, Client Partner E-Commerce/Retail DACH at Facebook, is now on stage. "Mobile is the new shop window" is her theory, which is the subject of her lecture.

The workshop "Next Level Retail" is about how digital touchpoints create real business value.
