First European Sportstech Report: Multisport and football in front

Start-ups deliver e-commerce, content and data analysis

The first European Sportstech Report provides an overview of the growing scene of companies in the sports business dealing with Sportstech. Afterwards, there is a wide range of companies offering online platforms for e-commerce, ticketing, club search or similar. Most companies do not want to concentrate on one single sport in their tech applications.

More than 1000 companies were interviewed for the Lead Sportstech X European Sportstech Report. 17.9 percent see their field of activity in the "Marketplace & Discovery" area. These are essentially online platforms for e-commerce, companies, associations or events.

Behind it lies the area "News & Content". 14.5 percent of the companies surveyed are located here. These companies offer platforms for information and news. 12 percent of the Sportstech companies work in the "Wearables & Equipment" area, 9.6 percent are involved in "Activity Data & Analytics".
