New owners invest in the future of Sympatex

The new owners have been chosen: Members of the Hamburg Otto family take over Symaptex Technologies from Munich. Sympatex continues to work independently, and Unterföhring also remains the company's headquarters.

It is official: The Family Office of the Hamburg family Otto has arranged for the new investors of Sympatex Technologies, they are members of the company family itself.

Following the restructuring of Smart Solutions Holding, the parent company of Sympatex Technologies GmbH, and after considering the bids on offer, the Munich-based manufacturer of functional textiles will in future be held by members of the Otto family and managed by KG CURA Vermögensverwaltung. Sympatex explained this in a press release.

Sympatex CEO: No better home than Otto

As stated in the communication, Sympatex continues to operate as an independent company. There are no structural or personnel changes planned, and the company's headquarters will remain in Unterföhring near Munich.
