Already at the age of 14 he was considered a skateboard professional and the best skateboard athlete in the world. Three years later he could already afford his own house and earned more than his high school teachers. After a phase of financial distress, he was able to get back on his feet in the late 90s and established himself as a company founder and athlete. Today, Tony Hawk is a skateboarding legend.
