The American company Hydro Flask was represented at ISPO MUNICH 2016 for the first time, and will retain its headquarters in Bend, Oregon. The European headquarters will open in Switzerland with support from Helen of Troy.
The new parent company should be able to raise brand awareness in Europe more quickly. In the USA, Hydro Flask is one of the fastest growing private companies, which is why Hydro Flask highlighted that the takeover was not due to economic difficulties.
“This offers us an incredible opportunity for continued growth and industry leadership, thanks to the efficiencies and global resources provided by our new parent company,” explains Scott Allan, Hydro Flask President and CEO.
