Specialist journalist died at the age of 47
Mourning for Markus Huber
The ISPO team mourns Markus Huber. The specialist journalist died after a long and serious illness. He was only 47 years old.
Markus Huber was one of the most competent authors in the sporting goods industry, especially in the outdoor sector he was a renowned expert and a valued discussion partner. Huber worked for ISPO.com for several years and was responsible for the former ISPO.com news blog.
He was a founding member of the magazine Sportfachhandel. As a freelance journalist, Huber wrote for SAZ, the Business Newsletter Sporting Goods Intelligence Europe and The Outdoor Industry Compass.
