Textilemission: New initiative against microplasty in the environment

With the project "TextileMission", the Federal Association of the German Sporting Goods Industry with its companies, WWF Germany and two universities want to reduce the environmental impact of plastic microparticles in clothing.

Synthetic fibre textiles release microplastic particles in household laundry - this is extremely bad for the environment and that's why the "TextileMission" joint project has been in existence since September 2017. The aim of the research project is to reduce the impact of microparticles in the future.
