At the Kids Triathlon on the first day of ISPO Shanghai young sports enthusiasts between 5-12 years can show their talent in swimming, biking and running. The event will be organized in cooperation with the Shanghai Triathlon Club (STC). The Finisher will directly qualify for the Kids Triathlon in September at Dishui Lake in Shanghai.

Kids Triathlon ISPO Shanghai

As in other triathlons the children compete in the following three disciplines:

  • Swimming: The competition takes place at the pool inside Shanghai New International Expo Center from 12:00–13:30. (15 meters per lap)
  • Biking: The track is outside the N2 building of the Expo Center. There are two startblocks: 10:00–11:30 and 14:00–17:00. (1200 meters per lap)
  • Running: As well as the cycling route the running is also outside the N2 building of the Expo Center. There are two startblocks: 10:00–11:30 and 14:00–17:00. (500 meters per lap)

 

What to bring for the event:

  • Mandatory: swim suit or tri-suit, goggles, bike, bike helmet, closed-toe running shoes, running clothes
  • Optional: kickboard (under eight years only), sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and towel
