    Rethink the world of sports and shape it together: that’s what ISPO Munich 2024 (3 to 5 December 2024) is calling for with this year’s main topics Retail & Sustainability, Health & Fashion, and Tech/AI & Sports Extended. With over 2,400 exhibitors, topic-specific hubs and an extensive programme featuring prominent speakers, the upcoming event will set new standards and show how technology, sustainability and health are revolutionising the sports industry. With a total of five conferences, the accompanying conference programme offers deeper insights into various topics. And for the first time this year, on 2 December 2024, one day before the official start of the trade fair, there will be an exclusive ISPO Munich Media Day with a preview of the trade fair and exclusive media talks with high-ranking guests.

    The new concept of OutDoor 2025 was developed in close collaboration with international industry and trade representatives to address the changing needs of the outdoor industry in the wake of the pandemic. The focus is on new and flexible participation options that enable brands to showcase their products, innovations and brand messages in an accurately targeted and custom-tailored way. All participation options can now be booked online. Under the motto “From Buying to Selling”, OutDoor from 19 to 21 May 2025 will not only enable visitors to expand their own business potential, but will also offer all stakeholders in the outdoor industry a platform for exchange and inspiration along the entire value chain. Interested individuals who already schedule an appointment at ISPO Munich 2024 will receive a free ISPO Munich ticket. In addition, the new concept will be presented in a webinar on 14 November.

    Under the motto “From Commitment to Action”, the Ski Industry Climate Summit on 2 and 3 December at ISPO Munich will once again bring together the big players in the world of skiing and snowboarding. The event, which is organised and hosted by ATOMIC in collaboration with Protect Our Winters (POW), the Winter Sports Sustainability Network (WSN) and ISPO Munich, brings together the most important brands, manufacturers, retailers, associations and NGOs, all united to forge innovative ideas for more climate protection and to jointly shape the future of winter sports.

    Retailers are calling for more brands, and brands are seeking greater retailer participation at the trade fair. This initiative aims to facilitate proactive exchanges, forge new business contacts, and collaboratively advance the industry. The European Outdoor Group (EOG) and Messe München have established the Retail Advisory Council to directly gather feedback from international retailers on their needs and requirements for the trade fair concept. The council will play a crucial role in shaping OutDoor 2025, ensuring closer retailer involvement in its development. The overarching objective is to enhance industry support, evolve the trade fair concept, and solidify OutDoor’s position as a global platform for business, inspiration, and growth. The new OutDoor concept will be unveiled at the European Outdoor Summit, 18-19 September 2024 in Cambridge, United Kingdom.
