Raised in the Alps and obsessed with programming since his teenage years, Jonas loves the outdoors. 2010 he teamed up with friends and founded komoot. To date komoot is europe's biggest outdoor platform, continuously inspiring over 6 million users to explore more. With a background in computer science, sociology and management consulting, Jonas passion is in product and company building. 2017 he led the change of komoot into a radically remote first philosophy with a rapid growing team of currently 40 employees working from more than 17 cities all around europe.
