Philip Volker started his athletic career as a track and field athlete before he got hooked on more trendy sports like snowboarding, skateboarding, and mountain biking. His biggest passion is surfing and the traveling that comes with it. Philip loves extreme sports, but he's eager to stay under control – because he dislikes injuries and the regeneration time involved. A sports science major, Philip also knows the theoretical side of things, which he's happy to share with others and put into practice. "The evolution of many of the sports I like depends on innovative products – that's why I like to keep track of what's going on. Being part of the ISPO AWARD is great.
