By the end of 2016, Siegfried Paßreiter will step down as Managing Director of Fischer + Löffler Deutschland GmbH, the Austrian company’s subsidiary and begin his retirement. Very few people have served the ski industry as long as the 60-year-old has done.

Siegfried Paßreiter leaves Fischer + Löffler after 18 years at the helm of the German subsidiary.

He was at the helm of the German arm of the sporting goods company since 1998. From 1978 through 1997 he worked for Völkl first as Sales Director, later as Manging Director of its German sales operation. Additionally, Paßreiter is a longtime board member of BSI, the German manufacturers’ federation, and head of its snow sports committee.

From the middle of this year onwards, the company’s leadership will gradually be handed over to Walter Wensauer, who is currently Sales Director.
