Big names open doors. Shortly before the start of ISPO SHANGHAI, industry giant Gore-Tex made the decision to cooperate with Brands for Good. Positive feedback from the trade fair shows that corporate social responsibility has also caught on in China.

For more than 25 years, textile experts at Gore-Tex have stood for sustainable production with their “Life Cycle Assessment” CSR process, and now they want to spread this message.

With Brands for Good’s slogan, “do good and talk about it,” Gore-Tex has found itself a fitting project partner at ISPO SHANGHAI .

Gore-Tex Raises Awareness

“The mere presence of Gore-Tex at the Brands for Good stand provides for a completely different level of interest,” according to Brands for Good founder Frank Lohse. “Above all, Gore-Tex wants to put the communication focus on making it considerably more sustainable to buy a higher-quality, and therefore also higher-priced, product. The reason being that this will not have to be replaced by a new product after several years.”

Gore-Tex has effectively implemented the theme of corporate social responsibility across all levels of the business and is a fine example for Lohse, because “you can see that despite entailing costs, CSR also has a positive influence on return earnings in day to day business.”
