For more than 25 years, the Stuttgart-based carmaker has been organising an international competition with its Porsche Supercup, in which the best drivers of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup compete against each other. Now the Swabians are announcing their first virtual one-make cup, the Porsche Esports Supercup.

The development of eSports does not stop at racing simulations. In the Porsche Esports Supercup a total of 40 drivers have been competing against each other in an international competition since 13 April to determine the best in their class. In cooperation with the online racing simulator iRacing, the drivers compete in a total of 10 online events consisting of a qualifying, a sprint and a main race for a total prize money of $100,000.

Don't miss the annual event for the digitalization of the sports business! The ISPO Digitize Summit 2020 will take place in Munich on June 30, 2020.

The winner of the Porsche Esports Supercup can also look forward to a special honour: At this year's "Night of Champions" Gala, Porsche not only honours the teams and drivers of motor sport, but also awards the prizes to the virtual racing drivers at the same time.
