ISPO.com: What are you looking forward to most at ISPO 2025?

Victoria Reim: I’m really looking forward to discovering the most exciting sustainability highlights, new materials, and meaningful projects in the outdoor world. ISPO is the perfect place to feel the pulse of what’s happening – from innovations in circularity to nature-inspired design and new business models. For us at NORR and Suston, it’s always about connecting: connecting people, ideas, and companies that want to make outdoor better.

Why is ISPO important for NORR Agency / Suston?

ISPO brings the whole industry together – sustainability leaders, product developers, start-ups, journalists, and long-term partners. For NORR Magazin, it’s an opportunity to discover inspiring Nordic brands and stories with a strong connection to nature. For Suston, it’s about staying up-to-date on sustainability developments, certifications, and pioneering solutions. For NORR Agency, it helps us identify potential partners who share our vision – brands we can collaborate with on communication, sustainability projects, or editorial storytelling.

Our goals:

  • Spot the strongest sustainability innovations and projects
  • Discover Scandinavian outdoor brands with exciting news
  • Find partners who align with our values
  • Strengthen networks within the sustainability and outdoor community
  • Bring Nordic inspiration and responsible outdoor culture to a wider audience
  • Create meaningful connections for both NORR Magazine and NORR Agency

Can you tell us about NORR?

NORR Agency is a communication and content agency helping outdoor and sustainability-driven brands tell their stories. We work on editorial projects, content creation, sustainability communication, and brand collaborations. Our goal is to connect like-minded partners, support purposeful innovation, and bring Nordic values of simplicity, responsibility, and closeness to nature into every project.

Suston is an international media platform dedicated to sustainability in the outdoor industry. We report on the people, initiatives, and innovations driving real change — from circular material breakthroughs to climate strategies, biodiversity projects, and transparent supply chains. Our focus is on practical solutions and honest storytelling that helps the industry move forward.

NORR is a German outdoor magazine with a deep love for Scandinavia. We focus on sustainable travel, responsible adventures, and Nordic gear innovation. Our audience is passionate about nature, slow experiences, and high-quality outdoor equipment. We share stories that inspire people to explore the North – in a way that respects the environment and the communities who live there.

Any specific trends, innovations, or workshops you’re excited about at ISPO?

I’m very excited about anything connected to circularity, regenerative materials, traceability, and new business collaborations that challenge the status quo. Workshops on climate-positive product strategies, sustainable sourcing, and innovation in functional fabrics are always high on my list.

Workshops I’m eyeing include:

  • New communication approaches for sustainability in the outdoor industry

Who do you want to meet at ISPO?

People who care about the future of the outdoor industry – sustainability managers, Scandinavian brands, innovators, product developers, and all partners who want to move things forward. We’re always looking to connect with companies that want to collaborate on meaningful editorial projects or sustainability communication.

How do you balance networking at ISPO?

With curiosity and openness. ISPO can be intense, so I try to stay flexible, leave room for spontaneous meetings, and follow the conversations that feel most meaningful. It’s all about listening, learning, and connecting people who should know each other.

Any ISPO highlights or personal memories?

Definitely the moments when new partnerships start over a simple conversation – or when you discover a project you didn’t expect. ISPO has a special energy when it comes to sustainability and innovation, and every year there’s at least one idea or meeting that stays with me.

Do you have any tips for fellow ISPO visitors?

Of course, I do. Here are my recommendations:

  • Stay open – the best meetings happen spontaneously.
  • Don’t rush. Take time to look beyond the obvious booths.
  • Talk to sustainability teams – they often know the most exciting stories.
  • Explore Scandinavian brands: design + responsibility = always worth a visit.
  • Drink enough water and wear comfortable shoes. (Seriously.)
  • And most importantly: connect, connect, connect.
