Jochen Schnell has been working for Intersport for 15 years, most recently as a member of the Management Board in Germany with responsibility for the goods and market segment. At his own request, he is now leaving the company as of September 30,2017,"for very private reasons", as the company reports.
"We respect Jochen Schnell's decision. At the same time, we would like to thank you for the excellent cooperation. Jochen Schnell has given Intersport a lot of impetus during his time at Intersport,"says Supervisory Board Chairman Knud Hansen.
Kim Roether, Chairman of the Board of Management, who will initially take over Hannes Rumer Schnell's business division together with the Board of Management, says:"Jochen Schnell's retirement is a pity, but deeply humane one. Together with him, we have successfully worked together as a team and launched important projects for Intersport. We wish him and his family all the best for the future."
