It is official: The Family Office of the Hamburg family Otto has arranged for the new investors of Sympatex Technologies, they are members of the company family itself.
Following the restructuring of Smart Solutions Holding, the parent company of Sympatex Technologies GmbH, and after considering the bids on offer, the Munich-based manufacturer of functional textiles will in future be held by members of the Otto family and managed by KG CURA Vermögensverwaltung. Sympatex explained this in a press release.
As stated in the communication, Sympatex continues to operate as an independent company. There are no structural or personnel changes planned, and the company's headquarters will remain in Unterföhring near Munich.
"In Germany, no name stands for more credibility when it comes to corporate social and ecological responsibility than the Otto family," says Dr. Rüdiger Fox, CEO of Sympatex Technologies. "With our consistent focus on innovation for sustainable functional textiles, we cannot imagine a better home."
