The Swiss outdoor brand Mammut is restructuring its North American leadership. The company announced that Joe Prebich will become the new Managing Director of Mammut North America. Bill Supple will leave his position as CEO at the end of April, having established and led Mammut North America 17 years ago. Prior to this, he will initiate a regular handover to Prebich in the course of the month.

We thank Bill for his passion and dedication to growing the Mammut brand and bringing our business in North America to the strong position we’ve achieved to date,” said Oliver Pabst, CEO of Mammut. “Globally, Mammut is in a position to charge ahead with the new strategy and we’re excited to have Joe join us as we embrace the next phase for the brand.”

Prebich joins from Fjällräven

Prebich was most recently Vice President of brand at Fjällräven North America and previously worked for Oakley and Red Bull, among others.

“I’m really excited to join the global Mammut executive team as well as the Vermont-based team here in North America,” said Prebich. “The Mammut brand has such a strong and rich heritage, and as we move forward, will share even more exciting stories and innovations. I’m looking forward to working with Bill through this transition to further elevate Mammut’s premium brand position and build upon the successes we’ve seen to date in the outdoor market.”
