Those interested should boast a passion for mountain biking, interest in riding as part of a team and “the right amount of daring”, according to Vibram. As well as a jersey and shoes with Vibram soles, members receive the right to participate in international competitions.
“The idea of a team has proved to be very successful both in making our brand more visible and in offering athletes the perfect opportunity to practice their favorite sport,” explains Jerome Bernard, head of the newly created Sport Marketing Innovation department at Vibram. “Vibram is distinguishing itself more than ever before with its own impulses, even in the world of mountain biking.”
The MTBike Team Vibram’s first event will be Maxiavalanche Cervinia on July 29 and 30. Applications should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “Application MTBike Team Vibram.”
Vibram produces approximately 40 million soles each year. The company has its international headquarters in Albizzate, Italy, along with production and research sites in the USA, China, Japan, Brazil and Italy.
