ISPO Award Winner: The Scoria Quilt UL by Robens

This ultralight quilt is part of a new sleeping system developed by Robens, which eliminates superfluous features to create an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

With high-quality down filling, a close-fitting design and an adjustable strap system, the Scoria Quilt UL proves that lightness doesn't mean sacrificing warmth or sleep quality. 

Unlike traditional sleeping bags, the Scoria Quilt UL eliminates unnecessary material under the body—where insulation is compressed and loses effectiveness. The quilt remains open at the bottom and is attached to the sleeping pad with elastic straps. Multiple attachment points help reduce drafts and ensure a snug fit. Depending on how tight you set this connection, you can regulate the thermal performance of the quilt yourself, achieving a new level of versatility. The attachment also reliably prevents the quilt from slipping, even when you turn over on the sleeping pad. 

Weighing just 390 grams, the Scoria Quilt UL exceeds expectations in every important category: warmth, packability, and comfort. The quilt is filled with 850+ fill power RDS-certified duck down (90/10), guaranteeing high warmth. 

The quilt's 10D 540T ripstop polyester shell weighs only 24 g/m², yet is particularly tear-resistant, breathable, and feels pleasantly soft. This allows the quilt to be easily compressed into the smallest corners of your backpack and immediately regains its loft as soon as it is unpacked. The anatomical mummy shape and wind protection collar naturally hug the shoulders like a technical down jacket, while the fin-shaped foot area further supports heat retention and comfort. 

The special H-box construction ensures even down distribution, prevents cold spots, and optimizes loft and thermal efficiency without unnecessary bulk. With these features, Scoria offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, providing comfort when temperatures drop without weighing down your luggage. 

This efficient design makes the quilt ideal for alpine trekking and longer backcountry tours, where space and weight are important considerations.
