With ISPO BRANDNEW, the biggest start-up competition in the sports business, ISPO has selected the best newcomers. Now, the most innovative and exciting start-ups were chosen in the eight categories Accessories, Athleisure, Hardware Summer, Hardware Winter, Social Awareness, Style, Wearables, and Fitness.

The independent jury named the ISPO BRANDNEW winners from a total of 394 applications. The jury meeting, where the experts got to know, tested the products and in the end selected the best newcomers, lasted close to ten hours. You can see which experts evaluate the products here.

The ISPO BRANDNEW winners of 2017 will present themselves at ISPO MUNICH 2017 in hall B5 in the ISPO BRANDNEW Village. ISPO.com is already showing the winners of the start-up competition.

The popup tent has long since come out on top among outdoor fans – nearly everyone is familiar with the principle. flying tent oriented itself towards the idea of the popup tent, but nevertheless adds one more function: that of a hammock. All at once the fear of invading rainwater is history, because the flying tent hangs in the air. Of course, the tent can also be set up on the ground. One important detail: Those who need cover from the tent in the rain can do so on the move: it also serves as a poncho.

Bent bamboo stringers channel strain and relief through the feet on the edges, while the board saves on weight by using cork with flax fibers. This also results in excellent damping. But the question remains: Who invented it? The Swiss, of course – under the slogan ‘Greener, Lighter, Stronger.’

While training you can storm the interactive leaderboard or compete with players all over the world at the same time. Aside from that, interactiveSquash manages real-time feedback for performance improvement. The games, which react directly to the movements and actions of the athlete, are provided for squash studios that want to offer their customers fun and action.

A nanocomputer on a golf glove: the small device scans the grip, speed, and overall motion sequence. But the PIQ Robot isn’t just usable for golf; it analyzes several sports – with it being able to process millions of movement data and simultaneously giving feedback to the user on their smartphone. If the athlete sticks to the PIQ Robot’s tips, soon they’ll definitely become a real star in their sport.

The Football for Life: Champions Academy (F4L:Academy) supports children in the Philippines from poor backgrounds with a sports/teaching program. Children are meant to gain motivation to perform well in school from their positive experiences in the soccer program, making it easier for them to break the cycle of poverty. The approach of the Organisation Fund Life’s program: athletic successes strengthening self-confidence, which then also pays into academic successes and forms the foundation for a good career. The program is supported by the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF).
