Nike: Ulrike Köhler Replaces Daniel Eppler as General Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Internal change in management at Nike: The US Sports Giant has made Ulrike Köhler the General Manager for the Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In November 2016 she will replace Daniel Eppler, who has been in the position since 2012.

In taking on her new leadership role, Köhler will also assume Eppler’s post as the Vice President of the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region. 

She studied biology and sport science and has worked for Nike, occupying various positions, since 1997. Until now Köhler has been the Vice President and General Manger for Northern Europe at the company.

 

 

New Nike Post for Eppler Unclear

What Eppler, a former professional ice hockey player, will now do for Nike is not yet known. Before he came to Nike in 2002, Eppler worked for McKinsey and the Swiss financial services company UBS.
