The ISPO Academy Conference at the ISPO Munich in 2020 is dedicated to the overriding theme of the trade show: "Be responsible. Be active. Be creative." In addition to the Innovation Day on the first day of the show, visitors can expect numerous lectures and discussions on current topics and trends the following two days: What will retail strategies of the future look like? What development opportunities in the world of digitalization still exist? What connections can be explored in between fashion and sport? Physiological parameter from sweat can improve the assessment of the body status in sports performance diagnostics. For sweat analysis a screen-printed sensor is developed and the integration with tailored electronics are presented. The sensor deliver information about ammonium levels in sweat to detect overstrain.

Valeska Benner has been Managing Director of SportMarken24, an e-commerce start-up from Wiesbaden, since spring 2018. After completing her studies at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), she worked for 10 years as a management consultant at A.T. Kearney before founding the start-up. The mother of two is herself an enthusiastic sportswoman and a qualified fitness trainer. Her goal is to connect over 500 stores over the next few years and thus maintain the inner cities and the German sports retail trade. In addition to her entrepreneurial activities, Valeska Benner also acts as a mentor, supporting start-ups in particular, in order to give them helpful advice on setting up their own businesses and to encourage them.
