Europe is under pressure to finally digitize its healthcare systems – from electronic health records and the European Health Data Space to DIGA reimbursement schemes and AI-supported diagnostics. At the same time, prevention and mental health at work are becoming key priorities. In this fireside chat with Jiskia Reiss (EIT Health), we explore which digital health solutions are currently high on the EU agenda, how public funding programs work and why patient centricity and data use do not have to conflict with data protection. Concrete examples illustrate where corporate health providers and employers can already act today – from digital therapeutics to occupational health apps.
