Biography

Baptiste is the former Head of Sustainability at Decathlon-Oxylane and comes to SAC with ten years of experience in sustainability in the textile and apparel industry, having worked his way up from the factory floor to the company board. His rich experience also includes positions in Romania, Thailand, and France.

While in Thailand, Baptiste reshaped the social and labor policies of nearly 1,000 Decathlon suppliers, redefining the methodology and creating an international team to support its implementation.

Recently, Baptiste created the first sustainability team at Decathlon’s Corporate Headquarters, comprising 20 professionals in charge of eco-design policy (including the PEF pilot for T-Shirts), environmental performance of suppliers, company footprint (including the OEF Pilot), and social program.

Baptiste manages SAC’s European activities, providing support to all of SAC’s Europe-based members. Baptiste is currently building up SAC’s new local team and presence, and he is collaborating with stakeholders from government bodies to NGOs.
