Stephan Roest is Head of Circular Economy Business Development at Borealis. In this role, he is overseeing the business development and circular economy projects, including the offering of advanced mechanical recycling (Borcycle™ M), chemical recycling (Borcycle™ C) and the polyolefins based on renewable feedstock (Bornewables™). Stephan works for its entire professional career in sustainability and circular economy: first as sustainability consultant at PwC, and afterwards as business development director Bioplastics at Corbion, before joining Borealis. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management from Delft University. As well as an Executive MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management.
