Leon Ries, born on November 19, 1985, served as youth secretary of the German Football Association (DFB) from 2014 to 2018. He then spent four years as head of basic consulting and development at the association and finally as project manager „Project Future“ until 2023. Since April 2023, Leon Ries has been Managing Director of the German Sports Youth (dsj) and the Youth Board of the DOSB.
