The Ötztal is a side valley of the Inntal in the Austrian state Tirol. The communities of Haiming, Sautens, Oetz, Umhausen, Längenfeld and Sölden are located in the about 65 km long valley. The Ötztal is international known - and that is not only because of its winter sports areas, Sölden, Gurgl and Oetz. Also over 1 million overnight stays are collected in the Summer. The main tourist themes in the valley are sport and activity facilities with natural offerings. Especially the offers in the outdoor area like biking & climbing as well as water sports like rafting, canyoning and kayaking are unique. Some USP's like the Water Area within the AREA 47, the Ötztaler Ache, the Piburger See but also the highest waterfall in Tirol, the "Stuibenfall", add a special note. The Ötztal tourism serves as a link and networking between the individual providers in the valley, the guests and also the international stakeholders.
