This very lightweight and versatile 4-season jacket is developed as a thermal layer for all intense activities. It has been designed to maximize insulation in the chest area: The windproof, tear-resistant 20D microshell fabric retains heat from the breathable synthetic insulation. In other body areas, a textured warmshell knit fabric provides enhanced moisture transport. The jacket is versatile for many sports, such as fast hiking, trekking, climbing and cycling.
The choice of material is particularly interesting: the jacket is made entirely of recycled polyester obtained from used PET plastic bottles. All fabrics come from performance fabric specialist Tejin in Japan and are bluesign certified. The DWR is PFC-free. Even zippers are made of polyester, while the the zipper tape is also recycled. Since the jacket is made entirely from mono material, it is recyclable and suitable for circular processes.
Durability and longevity also play an important role: since Ternua has its own production facilities, the jacket can be repaired - just like all other Ternua products.
The jacket is available for men and women and will be launched in fall 2023.

“This are great news for all at Ternua, to receive an Ispo award with the Agile hybrid M&W jackets, we are advancing in sustainability, without losing functionality, doing it in an innovative way and being internationally recognized, it confirms that products can be built in a different way giving the same level of importance to what we make and how we make it. In this case we have created a very functional, attractive and circular all year-round jacket, using 100% recycled polyester materials (mono material) and recyclable. Very versatile that can be used in many outdoor intense activities.”
Edu Uribesalgo, Ternua group innovation and sustainability director
"If you want to close loops, you have to make recyclable products. Thanks to body mapping, this jacket made of mono-material was constructed in such a way that functionality and reduction to one material are not mutually exclusive."
