The Mammut Eiger Nordwand Advanced High GTX boot delivers a lightweight and stiff footwear solution with easy entry and a perfect fit for high altitudes.
Ideal for year-round, high-altitude tours, these boots excel in alpine challenges demanding low weight and high performance. »For this boot, we were working very closely with our athletes to enable their best performance in very challenging terrain«, says Lorenza Kessler, Product Manager Footwear at Mammut, explaining a little of the R&D backstory of this all year round, semi-crampon mountaineering boot.
The Vibram Litebase outsole delivers on both fronts, as it is lightweight and offers premium performance, which is why it was also requested by Mammut’s athletes. Meanwhile, GORE-TEX and Schoeller's Soft Gel insulation keep the feet warm and dry. The Ortholite O-Therm Insole adds additional support in keeping the feet warm, even in cold conditions, where an aerogel-infused foam provides an ultimate thermal barrier. Further, this boot includes Mammut’s patented contract control technology: A carbon plate in the PU midsole, that ensures lightweight rigidity. It minimizes weight but enhances stiffness by 20%.
The improved opening enables easy entry, and the BOA® Fit System offers a precise adjustable fit in the Mammut Eiger Nordwand Advanced High GTX. The dial is placed to the side. A zipper also enables a quick replacement of the BOA® Fit System if needed.
The overarching concept of this boot is minimal design for maximal performance. It has - same as the whole Eiger 6 collection - a focus on very durable design with a 100% PFC-free base that is repairable and while materials are used resourcefully in general.
The polyurethane-coated upper over a high-tenacity polyester core makes the shoe highly resistant to traction and abrasion. Woven directly into the fabric, these materials offer exceptional durability. The fact that it is resolable and the zipper can be replaced, enhances its repairability. Also, recycled polyester is used in the upper. The Mammut Eiger Nordwand Advanced High GTX helps to allow high-performing athletes to excel without compromising on lightweight, stiffness, warmth, durability, and repairability, which is also an impressive achievement in the eyes of the ISPO Award jury. The boot is unisex and a trustworthy option to support mountaineers on their mission in cold and challenging environments.
Next level in sports recovery: The new Go X by Reboots offers fully customizable, high-end compression massage, delivering 360-degree smart recovery for athletes anytime, anywhere.
Go X by Reboots sets new standards in sports recovery, delivering a fully customizable compression massage device for athletes seeking flexibility and control. With the new AirX Technology and the Reboots App, users can tailor the massage to their needs, adjusting the pressure of 16 air chambers individually. A 1.5-hour battery enables on-the-go recovery, while the hoseless pants design provides seamless, 360° coverage for legs, hips, and glutes. The ISPO Award Jury decided to honor the Go X with the coveted ISPO Award 2024 at their meeting at the end of October.
“Our goal was to provide athletes worldwide with a recovery solution that’s easily accessible, powerful, and fully adaptable. The Go X, paired with the Reboots App, combines cutting-edge technology with user-friendliness to offer athletes the recovery they need to maximize their performance,” Toni Bittner-de Grandi, Research & Development Lead at Reboots, stated.
Compression massage devices such as the Reboots Go X generate a directional pressure wave that moves from the feet to the upper body, massaging the legs. This allows waste products such as lactate to be removed more quickly and prevents muscle soreness. The result: higher performance and faster regeneration. In a next step for the industry, the Reboots Go X provides not only increased efficiency and mobility but also an unprecedented level of control in compression massage. The new AirX Technology makes the Go X the only compression massage solution in pants design without cumbersome hoses or a large control unit–perfect for flexible, mobile use. With 16 battery-powered pumps that control each chamber with up to 180 mmHg of pressure, the Go X provides a personalized, user-friendly, and advanced compression massage. Plus, the Reboots App allows full control of pressure intensity of each chamber, offers 8 programs, and enables the creation of personalized recovery sequences.
Franziska Bosbach, Marketing Lead at Reboots, further underlines the advantages for the athletes: “With the Reboots Go X, we’re redefining what athletes can expect from compression massage technology. We believe that every athlete deserves not only a personal training plan but even more so a recovery process tailored specifically to their needs. The Go X makes this possible at a new level. We are eager to educate our community on how the Go X can transform their performance and recovery, making it a game-changer in their recovery and training routine.”
Professional athletes confirm the benefits of the Go X. Anne Haug, 2019 Ironman World Champion and winner of Challenge Roth in 2021, 2022 & 2024, said: “As a professional triathlete, the intensity of my training is demanding. Effective recovery isn’t just an option, it’s an essential part of my training and crucial for performing at my highest level.” Anne Haug has relied on Reboots technology for years, and it has been a cornerstone of her recovery routine. The new Reboots Go X, however, elevates this support to an entirely new level, she says: “Its fast setup and ease of use seamlessly integrate into my rigorous schedule, while the ability to tailor the compression massage to my specific needs significantly boosts my recovery. With the Go X, I’m always fully prepared to meet the challenges of every training session and race.”
Another pro athlete, Thibaut Baronian, emphasizes an extra advantage: “As a trail runner, the relentless terrain and demanding distances put a unique strain on my body. Effective recovery isn’t just beneficial–it’s essential. The Reboots Go X allows me to quickly bounce back after intense runs, targeting recovery where I need it most. It lets me focus on pushing my limits in training and races, knowing my recovery is handled with the best technology tailored to my needs as a trail runner. This way, I’m always ready for the next challenge!”
The ISPO Award Jury also confirmed the advantages of the Go X and decided to reward the product with the ISPO Award 2024.
High performance and innovative body-mapping design: The O’Neill FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket merges sustainability with lightweight warmth, flexibility, and breathability.
How do you create a jacket that excels in extreme weather conditions while minimizing environmental impact? For decades, the Original Northern California surf brand O’Neill has been dedicated to innovating in the world of surf and snow—enabling you to enjoy your playground longer and more consciously. O’Neill’s new FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket delivers weather protection and performance in fit, fabric, and function while reducing the environmental impact. The jury of the ISPO Award 2024 honored this innovative gear with the coveted award.
The FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket features the new V-Design Body Mapping technology, offering smart thermoregulation that adapts to the body temperature needs and provides lightweight comfort, a combination that is transforming the all-mountain riding experience. Drawing inspiration from O’Neill’s innovative wetsuit V-Design Body Contour construction patented several decades ago, the V-Design Body Mapping technology, much like a wetsuit, functions as a barrier between riders and rugged elements. O’Neill’s Hyperfreak Fire wetsuit won an ISPO Award in 2022, and the 2024 award for the FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket again underlines O’Neill’s expertise in water and snow. The jacket’s V-Design Body Mapping technology is crafted with industry-leading Primaloft Active Evolve and Primaloft Black ECO insulations, providing adaptive temperature regulation, feather-light construction, breathability, and flexibility–all to enhance riders’ experiences and extend their time on the mountain.
Minimizing environmental impact was essential to the design process so durability and ecological responsibility are key to the O’Neill FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket. The use of recycled materials not only reduces waste but also conserves resources. This approach reflects O’Neill’s commitment to minimize the company’s overall impact. Constructed from a 30K/30K Super Stretch Twill that contains 60% recycled PET, the jacket features fully taped seams and a PFC-free DWR coating, while the Primaloft insulations are made from 100% recycled materials. The waterproof jacket also includes a Gear Aid repair patch, allowing consumers to easily repair their gear and enjoy it longer.
The 30K/30K Super Stretch Twill also has a smooth, high-quality feel, combining functionality with a premium look that features some color accents: Neon orange highlights throughout the jacket emphasize its cutting-edge technology while adding a sense of visual warmth. These accents not only enhance visibility in snowy environments but also add a vibrant, energetic feel that complements the advanced design and is sure to stand out both on and off the slopes.
The jacket also features loads of functional elements including multiple pockets, adjustable cuffs, and a helmet-proof hood designed for seamless integration with a helmet, ensuring practicality without compromising style. The 30K/30K Super Stretch Twill fabric allows moisture vapor to escape, preventing overheating during high-intensity activities. This breathability ensures you stay comfortable and dry, even when exerting yourself on the slopes. Despite its robust performance features, the materials used in the jacket are lightweight, allowing for easy movement and comfort without compromising on warmth or protection, making it ideal for active use.
At their meeting, the ISPO Award jury acknowledged the advantages of the jacket and decided to honor it with an ISPO Award 2024. The FWC’Peak Fire Snow Jacket will be available online starting October 2025.
The Dilata 3L jacket by Fakir Apparels is available in a single “size” for both men and women. Thanks to the clever modular inserts, the jacket can be adapted to many body shapes and fits several sizes.
One jacket fit all. This jacket is for people who critically question their consumption and are looking for solutions to use clothes in more ways without having to buy more clothes.
This versatile and highly functional jacket is a unique, expandable unisex 3L jacket. It can be adjusted from women's size S to men's size XL using modular panels and zipper gussets, making it suitable not only for the different body shapes of different wearers, but also for different looks and uses. For example, for different seasons (the slimmer shape is worn in summer, the wider version fits in winter when wearing thicker clothing underneath). It is also practical as a jacket for pregnant women that grows with them. Both the width of the jacket and the length of the sleeves can be adjusted.
The 3-layer jacket is highly functional and breathable, waterproof and windproof thanks to the Sympatex membrane used. In addition, each component is made from recycled polyester to ensure maximum recyclability at the end of its useful life. The membrane and zippers are also made from partially recycled polyester. Thanks to its timeless design and high quality, the jacket can be used for many years.
The unisex jacket offers a long-lasting design and will be available from the third quarter of 2025.
This jacket combines several advanced solutions: it is modular, offers great flexibility, and is made from extra-fine recycled nylon.
This lightweight down jacket was designed with sustainability and versatility in mind. The jacket can be worn either way and is also modular so it can be adapted to many different needs.
The sleeves and hood can be removed, allowing this modular and reversible down jacket to be worn in different ways. The different design on the inside and outside makes it even more versatile.
The fabric used is also innovative. The jacket is made from GRS-certified recycled down and an innovative 10D microfiber fabric made from recycled Nylon6 and recycled textile and silk waste. The fabric weighs only 26 grams per square meter and requires a high level of craftsmanship in weaving technique due to the fineness of the yarn. Despite its fineness, the fabric is dirt and water repellent and tear resistant.
The jacket is filled with recycled down from used down jackets. Professional cleaning and treatment processes remove impurities and odors from the down, so that it again achieves a quality and thermal insulation performance that closely resembles that of new down. In this way, Tanboer not only wants to reduce waste, but also to contribute to the protection of animals by reducing dependence on new animal down. Even the zipper is made from recycled material.
Tanboer not only uses recycled materials, but also dismantles and recycles old clothes itself and delivers them to fabric and down suppliers. These then carry out a secondary processing cycle to make the materials available to Tanboer again, where they are processed into new products.
The GRS production process, which is certified as environmentally friendly and manufactured in China, saves 8.5 percent of electricity consumption, 100 percent of oil consumption, 84 percent of water consumption and 77 percent of carbon dioxide emissions compared to the conventional nylon production process.
The jacket was designed for men and will be launched in September 2025.
