
More than 84,000 trade visitors from 120 countries came to ISPO Munich 2018 during the four days.

One of the highlights at ISPO Munich 2018 was the new ISPO Digitize Area in Hall A4, which aims to support industry and commerce in digital Change.

A total of 2801 exhibitors (two percent more than last year) presented their latest products to the trade public in 16 halls.

At the VIP-Dinner Gertrude "Gert" Boyle was honoured with the ISPO Cup 2018 for her life's work. The 93-year-old was represented by her son, Columbia CEO Tim Boyle (middle). Together with Flori Schuster (CEO Sporthaus Schuster Gmbh, left) and Klaus Dittrich (Chairman of the Management Board of Messe München, right), he is standing on the red carpet.

I am very proud to be given this honor,"said Gert Boyle, who won the ISPO Cup 2018, in a video greeting message. "Too bad I can't be with you myself. But I sent a good representative."

Trade fair boss Klaus Dittrich at the Adidas Symposium on the ISPO Digitize stage: "With ISPO Digitize, we have set the right signals for the sporting goods industry and specialist sports retailers. We need to take advantage of the positive opportunities offered by digitalisation to attract more people to sport."

Following the Adidas symposium, two other stars visited the ISPO Digitize stage: Model Lena Gercke (center) and FC Bayern Torwart Manuel Neuer (right).

Both have tested the latest VR technology on the ISPO Digitize Area and were enthusiastic.

Numerous other celebrities visited ISPO Munich in 2018, including former swimmer and double world champion Franziska van Almsick. She introduced her new fitness program" MyBod-e "and talked about her foundation "Schwimmkids e. V." in the Watersports Village with the Motto "Children have to learn to swim - because swimming saves lives!"

Henry Maske (left) has long since finished his career, but he is still involved in boxing. At the ISPO Munich 2018, the ex-world champion in light-heavy weight talks about how he is still contributing and which innovations could change the boxing on the broad level.

After his resignation as a professional skier, Olympic champion and four-time world champion Bode Miller concentrates on business. He is Chief Innovation Officer and co-owner of the US clothing company Aztech Mountain and visited ISPO Munich again this year.

A highlight of the ISPO Munich Sports Week was the premiere of the ISPO Munich Night Run at the Olympic Park. The Polish orienteer Krzysztof Wolowczyk was the winner of the 10-kilometre long trail run over the Olympic mountain, ahead of favourite Sebastian Hallmann.
Manuel Neuer, Franziska van Almsick, Henry Maske, as well as Lena Gehrke or Felix Neureuther, Mats Hummels and Javi Martinez from FC Bayern. At the ISPO Munich 2018, a host of stars from the sports industry visited the Event.
This year's highlights included the ISPO Munich Night Run, and the VIP dinner at which Columbia former CEO Gertrude Boyle was honored with the ISPO Cup 2018, the impressive woman who fled from the Nazis - and built up her entrepreneur in the US.
