For the first time since his assumption of office as sole CEO at Adidas, Kasper Rorsted has reported the company and subsidiary Reebok’s quarterly figures. And they are impressive.

In comparison to 2015, group revenue rose in the third quarter of 2016 by 14 percent, to 5.413 billion euros. Operating income improved by 11.5% to 563 million euros.

While Reebok confirmed the stable upward trend with 7 percent more revenue, the Adidas brand displayed sustained dynamism with a 20 percent increase in sales. The brand succeeded in a double-digit growth in all markets save for Russia.

Kasper Rorsted has been a board member since August 1, and superseded Herbert Hainer as CEO on October 1.
