The Devon Shirt by BLACKYAK combines recycled grid fleece with strategically placed breathable and insulating materials. It was developed for intense activities such as ski touring, mountaineering and hiking.
This lightweight, warm and practical midlayer was developed for ski touring, mountaineering and hiking. It is part of the BLACKYAK TheOne collection, which is deliberately designed for durability and extreme conditions. To achieve this, BLACKYAK uses highly functional materials that have been tested by athletes in extreme conditions.
Climate management and body mapping
The 300g midlayer is made from technical grid fleece, which is made from 60 percent recycled materials and provides excellent insulation and moisture management while reducing environmental impact. Thanks to innovative body-mapping technology, BLACKYAK strategically places breathable and insulating materials precisely where they are needed to ensure perfect climate control and moisture management, whether you are active or resting. This is made possible by a brushed inner surface that provides a soft, cozy feel, while breathable, body-zone-specific inserts provide targeted cooling. The construction with pack panel and mesh pockets ensures freedom of movement and easy access to equipment.
Striking mesh pockets for quick access
The shoulders have been reinforced to improve the durability and longevity of the product and also to make it more comfortable to carry a backpack. Flat flatlock seams make the shirt backpack-compatible and prevent pressure points.
The two mesh pockets on the front of the midlayer are particularly practical and have been tested by athletes. The spacious pockets are lightweight and provide quick access to important equipment, such as gloves or technical devices. The shirt's simple design makes it easy to combine with other layers, but it can also be worn on its own.
The body-hugging design ensures breathability and efficient use of materials. The shirt has been developed for men and will be launched in September 2025.
