Sheep wool protection – ALPINA SPORTS is offering a sustainably produced back protector made of pure new wool in the form of the PROLAN VEST protector. It is designed to maintain a pleasant temperature during all activities, no matter the weather. The cushioning properties, comfort and sustainable approach of the ALPINA SPORTS PROLAN VEST make it Product of the Year in the Snow Sports segment in the Hardware area.
Back protectors are important to protect freeskiers or mountain bikers against serious injuries. But vests made of mostly hard polymers that offer a high level of comfort have rarely been seen before. ALPINA SPORTS is breaking new ground with the PROLAN VEST: The vest and protector plate are made entirely from sustainably produced sheep's wool. The back protection not only meets the TÜV standard 1621-2 level 1, but it also shapes itself naturally to the curve of your back. This ensures a high level of comfort when wearing and optimum freedom of movement. Natural sheep’s wool regulates body temperature and remains odorless even after prolonged use.

The PROLAN VEST back protector from ALPINA SPORTS meets the TÜV standard 1621-2 level 1, protects the back, provides comfort and is odor-resistant even after prolonged use. The wool for the protector comes exclusively from European sheep, avoiding long transport routes.
