Merlin Cerise is a Belgian polar explorer, climate advocate, photographer and expedition leader, and the founder of Life Expeditions, a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring remote environments while using adventure as a powerful tool for education and environmental awareness.
After years of expeditions across Greenland, Svalbard and the Arctic regions of Lapland, Merlin has developed extensive experience in polar travel, expedition planning, navigation and survival in some of the world's most demanding environments.
Through his expeditions, photography, films, educational workshops and public talks, he seeks to share a different perspective on the polar regions and the challenges they face, while inspiring younger generations to reconnect with adventure, nature and exploration.
Today, through Life Expeditions, he brings together explorers, scientists, artists and educators around projects that combine exploration, scientific and environmental awareness, storytelling and education.
