Margarita is a Colombian mountaineer and endurance adventurer whose pursuits span high-altitude climbing, ultradistance running and polar expeditions.
She is the first Colombian woman to complete the Seven Summits and the first Colombian to summit a double 8.000er: Mount Everest and Lhotse, in less than 28 hours.
Her project Vertex comprises the already completed SuperHalfs series and is currently pursuing the Crown of Europe, running the Abbott World Marathon Majors and the RacingThePlanet GSP series of ultradistance races in some of the world's most demanding environments. She was recognized by ¡HOLA! as one of the Latina 100 Powerhouses in sports.
With a background in languages and industrial design, Margarita's interests extend beyond sport into culture, creativity and exploration.
