Bernice Notenboom is an author, journalist, filmmaker and professional adventurer. She is the survival expert for the reality television series ALONE. In 2008 she reached the South Pole on skis as the first Dutch woman and in 2009 she was the second Dutch woman summiting Everest. She was contributing editor for National Geographic Traveler and writes regularly for national newspapers and magazines. She is the author of bestseller Survival Mind, the art of survival.
