The first fully circular t-shirt from 100% corn. NIPLA®** material is made from a 100% recycled PLA (Polylactide, based on corn starch). It has 2x better thermo-conductivity compared to Merino Wool, dries 3x faster than Cotton and 1.5x faster than Polyester. The material is hypoallergenic. NILPLA® has the lowest environmental impact compared to all conventional materials available on the market (98% lower water consumption compared to Cotton, 59% lower CO2 footprint compared to Polyester - measured with LCA conducted by Technical University in Liberec) and it is 100% molecularly (chemically) recyclable with our licensed technology. It is also biodegradable. NIL Textile has developed the world's first fully circular system. Customers can return worn out items via NIL Circular System and we recycle them via molecular recycling technology without a loss of quality. We use the product of recycling in the new production and close the loop by using our own waste.
