The S-Bahn will take you comfortably and quickly to your destination. You will find the S-Bahn station directly under the central area of Munich Airport. After arriving at the terminal, follow the signs with the green circle and the white S. The S-Bahn trains on lines S1 and S8 run every 10 minutes in the direction of the city center. This will take you directly from Munich Airport to the trade-fair center:
Route 1 with the S8
- Take the S8 from the airport in the direction of Herrsching.
- At Marienplatz, change to the U6 in the direction of Fröttmaning or U6 in the direction of Garching, Forschungszentrum.
- Get off at the Kieferngarten stops. The journey time is about 60 minutes.
Route 2 with the S1
- Take the S1 from the airport in the direction of Leuchtenbergring.
- Change at Marienplatz to the U6 in the direction of Fröttmaning or U6 in the direction of Garching, Forschungszentrum.

You can buy Munich public transport tickets at the airport and pay with cash, EC or credit card. Either at the ticket counter in the "München Airport Center", level 03, from 07:30 to 22:00. Or around the clock at the ticket machines in the "München Airport Center".
For OutDoor by ISPO, the "Airport-Tradefair-Express" will take you directly from Munich Airport to the trade fair center and back every 20 minutes. The one-way trip takes about 45 minutes and costs 9 euros. The price for the round-trip ticket is 15 euros. During OutDoor by ISPO, the buses will arrive at the Northfrom the airportarrive at the North Entrance. The busesto the airportdepart from the West and North entrances. There is a round-trip shuttle around the exhibition grounds to get you quickly from one entrance to the other.

Depending on traffic, it takes about 35 minutes to get from the airport to Messe München. There are numerous cabs waiting for you directly in front of the terminals.
