Plans for the new OutDoor trade fair will be presented in a live stream

Kick-off-Event for OutDoor by ISPO

If you are not there, you should have a look at the live stream or the live ticker: In cooperation with Messe München, the European Outdoor Group presents the plans for OutDoor by ISPO at a kick-off event. The Outdoor Fair will take place in Munich for the first time in 2019. 
 

The pulse of the outdoor world beats on 27 June at Messe München. The European Outdoor Group (EOG) together with Messe München will present the concept for OutDoor by ISPO. From 2019, the Outdoor Fair will be held in Munich for the first time. The contract was awarded to the Munich Trade Fair Centre through a democratic election among the EOG members. The exact dates for the fair are:  

  • 30 June to 3 July 2019
  • 28 June to 1 July 2020
  • 20 June to 23 June 2021

 

Key figures from the sports and outdoor industry, including Gore and On Running, will be at the kick-off event to present their ideas for the future of the outdoor industry. You can follow the event via live stream (or shortly after the event on demand) on 27 June from 13:30 - 16:00 (CET):

In addition, the ISPO.com editorial team will inform about the highlights of the show via live ticker. Prior to the kick-off event, Mark Held, General Secretary of the industry association EOG, said about OutDoor by ISPO:

"This platform is the answer to our 2020 vision that we have collectively given within the industry. We develop OutDoor by ISPO together. This is how we will shape our common understanding of the outdoor today and in the future - for more attraction and sustainable growth".

The agenda of the kick-off event: 

  • Presentation of the new year-round platform concept OutDoor by ISPO
  • Round table discussion about the goals and the future of the outdoor industry  
  • Networking and inspiration. The guiding principle is the OutDoor by ISPO Vision: Ever New Horizons
