Bergfreunde Climate Workshop: Introduction to Science Based Targets

This session will explore the basics around and the concept of science-aligned and science-based climate targets (SBTs). Attendees will gain practical knowledge and learn about the steps necessary to effectively set ambitious climate goals. The theoretical part will be supplemented by real-world case studies from outdoor brands that have already set themselves scientific climate targets. They will share their experience in setting such targets and discuss challenges and benefits they have encountered in doing so. Through this session, participants will be equipped to drive meaningful change and contribute to Bergfreunde's commitment to tackle climate change.
