Why the outdoor industry can be amongst the most important climate solution providers

This session will bring together industry leaders and international experts to discuss the leading role the outdoor sector can play in delivering global sustainability with focus on sustainable wardrobes and flourishing lives for 11 billion people. The focus is on an expanded climate and innovation agenda where the focus shifts from reducing problems to delivering the solutions society needs. The world needs exponential uptake of sustainable solutions and the role the outdoor industry and partners can play in this transformation will be discussed. The session will also provide an opportunity for stakeholders to join the Outdoor Climate Innovation Initiative (OCII) and present positive impact from the outdoor industry at COP29 and 30.
