FWT 2018: New Stops in Japan and Canada - No Appointment in Alaska

Freeride World Tour 2018 with Five Stops on Three Continents

Japan, Canada, Andorra, Austria and Switzerland. These are the five countries in which the Freeride World Tour 2018 stops. The USA with Haines, Alaska have no more stop. The event in Chamonix, France, will also be cancelled.

The kick-off is in Hakuba, Japan, at the end of January. Then it goes to Kicking Horse, Golden in British Columbia (Canada). The third and fourth tour stop will be Vallnord-Arcalís, Andorra and Fieberbrunn in Austria.

FWT Final 2018 Again in Verbier

A total of 45 skiers will compete in the disciplines of women's and men's skis as well as women's and men's snowboards. Before the last event, a cut is made and the 45-man field of riders is reduced to the best riders. The final is scheduled for the beginning of April in Verbier, Switzerland.
