The ISPO Award is now in its tenth edition. Since 2011, ISPO has been annually awarding the most innovative sports products of the year.
With the ISPO Award the internationally leading sports business network ISPO honors every year the highlight products of the sports industry. In different segments from Running & Fitness to Outdoor or Snowsports. The ISPO Award is a seal of approval for innovation, quality and functionality.
The winners benefit from the ISPO Award label: The specialized retail orientates itself on the award winners and gives them preferential consideration. For consumers, the award serves as an additional selling point. The awarded product thus becomes the highlight of the sports season and stands out from other products.
Due to the current situation, the jury meeting took place in hybrid form, which did not detract from the quality. The international jury of the ISPO Award includes not only material experts, media representatives and retailers, but also athletes and consumers. This means that testing - and evaluation - is all-encompassing. The jury judges according to a predefined criteria catalog.
"It is the trendsetting, innovative products in particular that carry the sporting goods market forward – and they often find a special way to make sports more enjoyable. This is one aspect we pay special attention to", says Jacqueline Eskandar, responsible for the ISPO Award.
The presentation of the ISPO Awards will take place online during the ISPO Munich from February 1 to 5, 2021. All "Products of the Year" as well as the "Gold Winners" will be presented in an audience-effective and wide-ranging manner.
The winners will also receive a comprehensive communication and benefits package. This includes the ISPO Award label, print data for hangtags and stickers for product awards, as well as a range of additional marketing options.
