FC Bayern Munich’s female soccer players find out what’s on at ISPO Munich

Whether it is as leaders, role models or as a target group for the sports industry: Women in sport have many opportunities for growth. The female Bundesliga soccer players of FC Bayern München also caught up on the offers and innovations on Monday.

Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Management Board of Messe München GmbH, insisted on personally welcoming the prominent guests to the Bavaria Lounge. Afterwards, the players took part in a tour through the halls of ISPO MUNICH 2017 – and even tried their hand at times along the way.

At the stand of outdoor clothing and sporting goods manufacturer Marmot, Carina Wenninger and Vanessa Bürki challenged the paraclimber Katharina Saurwein and Anke Wöhrer, Olympic silver medalist winner on the snowboard, to a spontaneous kicker duel. It goes without saying that the football players came out on ahead 3:0.

 

Visit to Anita Active

The visit to the stand of Anita Active, GOLD WINNER of the ISPO Award 2017 in the “Health & Fitness” segment, where every player was measured, was anything but unprofitable. Not without reason: Bayernrot is the sports bra named “Momentum”, which will be produced separately for every player.

The ladies from Munich were also welcome visitors to the other stands of ISPO MUNICH 2017, among others, on the stages of ISPO Health & Fitness and in the ISPO BRANDNEW village. Their interests were clearly different.
