Of course, as a father of two, slalom legend Felix Neureuther now also thinks from a father's perspective. The former world-class skier has got involved in the campaign "Lust auf eine bewegte Zukunft" campaign of the Bavarian State Sports Association and the Bavarian Sports Youth. The aim is to win boys and girls back for sports clubs - the Corona pandemic saw the greatest loss of members in this age group. The project with Neureuther is to be presented next year at the European Championships of top-class sport in Munich. Then, hopefully, kids outside of Bavaria can also be addressed.

A woman conquers a male bastion: For the first time there is a female president of the ski association in the skiing nation of Austria, Roswitha Stadlober. 22 men were her predecessors - but the former ski racer does not have to fear being ridiculed now. The 58-year-old from Salzburg was elected unanimously, and she has also been a member of the ÖSV presidium for ten years. Her goals are big: Stadlober wants to lead the association "into a new age".
