The permanent rescheduling of a fair date that has been learned for years is not an easy decision. We examined it extensively in advance because we know what an important role both fairs play for the sporting goods industry. And we have had long and intensive discussions with many market partners of ISPO Munich and Outdoor by ISPO.
However, the events and general conditions of the last few weeks with the bottlenecks in many supply chains have once again accelerated the discussion process with the industry. Many of our partners have come to the conclusion that the dates of our leading trade fairs should be adjusted to the current situation. Together we then decided to act quickly and decisively and to permanently shift the dates in order to achieve long-term planning security for all involved.
Registrations already made remain valid for November 2022. And of course, exhibitors have the right to withdraw. We will refund any registration fees already paid. We will clarify all expenses in consultation with our respective customers.
ISPO Munich and OutDoor by ISPO aspire to be the leading trade fairs and to provide an orientation on the new products of the season at an early kick-off date. Afterwards the orders are placed. Both events have not been order fairs for a long time. Lead times and deadlines have shifted and with the postponement we are moving back to the beginning of the information chain.
In addition, as the world's largest platform in sports business, ISPO has been offering more than just trade fairs for years. With our wide-reaching portal ISPO.com, the ISPO Awards and ISPO Textrends, we offer exhibitors the opportunity to increase their visibility in the industry and also in the direction of B2C. ISPO Awards and Textrends will continue to be held. We also offer all exhibitors who booked for ISPO Munich in January 2022 discounted packages for a high-reach presentation of their offers on ISPO.com.
Yes, our new concept reflects the requirements of the market and also results from the wishes of the industry. The new concept with a B2B and a B2C2B area is future-oriented and gives exhibitors the chance to get in touch with their target group. In addition, with the Experience Hall in the B2B area, we provide a platform for the industry to come together, communicate and exchange ideas, with an exclusive conference and speaker programme.
ISPO Munich does not simply open up to the public. Instead, we add a B2C show to the trade event. And this B2C show has its own independent concept and thus better meets the requirements of B2C visitors and exhibitors. After all, both target groups (B2B and B2C) differ considerably in their expectations.
For similar reasons as for the November date of ISPO Munich. The early June date for Outdoor by ISPO fits much better into our customers' strategic planning. As a kick-off at the beginning of the season, it gives them the opportunity to get an early overview of the new products of the season, so that they can then better start the subsequent ordering season and optimise their product range. It perfectly complements ISPO Munich in November and helps us strengthen the position of Outdoor by ISPO as the leading trade fair for the outdoor industry. This also coincides with the wishes of our partners.
Yes, your application remains valid if you want to participate in ISPO Munich 2022. At the moment you don't have to do anything else. We will probably start planning for ISPO Munich 2022 in May, so you will probably receive your placement proposal for the November event in June.

The participation prices and other prices such as communication fee, waste disposal fee, AUMA will not change in the B2B area of ISPO Munich 2022, despite the postponement. The prices of the Consumer Festival may have to be slightly adjusted. We will inform you about this in due time.
The general terms of participation (Terms of Participation A) remain valid. The special terms of participation for ISPO Munich 2022 (Terms of Participation B) must be adapted with regard to, among other things, dates, set-up and dismantling, and maximum stand size. As soon as the adjustments have been completed, we will publish the amended Terms of Participation on our website. The special Terms of participation (Conditions of Participation B) for the Consumer Festival must also be adapted to the new situation.
Your contract with Messe München GmbH for ISPO Munich 2022 remains in force despite postponement. For accounting reasons, your admission invoice received for ISPO Munich 2022 must be reissued in summer 2022. Please note that there may be reallocations as part of the new hall planning. Should you be affected by this, we will of course inform you in good time.

If you participate in ISPO Munich 2022 in November, your membership will be extended free of charge until 04/30/2023 (instead of originally until 11/01/2022). If you have already received your onboarding from our partner Foursource, you can already use your profile now. If you have not yet received an onboarding appointment, Foursource will contact you within the next 1-2 weeks. If you have booked a Textrends Full Service Package, the membership fee is part of your package. If you have booked an individual booth, the membership fee of 999 EUR will be invoiced with the admission invoice for the November event. The invoice is expected to be issued in June/June 2022.
