Over 100 firms will present their e-MTBs, pedelecs, cargo bikes with electric drives, and urban e-bikes in Munich. People can likewise talk shop with drive manufacturers, learn about tourism regions for e-biking, and obtain consultation on the right accessories.

Test e-bikes yourself

The exhibitor area at E-Bike-Days has doubled compared to last year; over 60,000 spectators are expected. Among the manufacturers on site are, for example, the bicycle brands Cube, Haibike, Scott, Kalkhoff, and KTM, and engine manufacturers like Bosch. In the expo area, visitors can learn about the latest developments in the field.

But even more important at E-Bike-Days: test, test, test. Many bikes can be rented for free on site, with the sole requirement being a valid ID.

Test courses in the Olympic Park

Tests can be done on a S-pedelec course with long, straight lines, an e-urban course with a direct ascent to the Olympiaberg mountain, and an uphill flow test course. Here, e-MTB pro Stefan Schlie will introduce the technology for e-MTBs on short trail passages. Schlie is convinced that the e-MTB will soon supersede the mountain bike.

Another e-bike test leads into the English Garden. Exhibitors are also offering test courses. In addition to the testing options and consultation at manufacturer booths, there’s a stage program with product presentations, expert interviews, and experience reports. Many questions by people interested in e-bikes can even be answered there.
